MARINE REPAIR Supply of Materials& Facilities

KOSCO SD supplies materials required for repair work within four weeks through KOSCO’s facilities and fabrication equipment, and critical-path materials are possible to be supplied within two weeks during repair work.

Repair work

KOSCO SD is able to keep the repair schedule and to secure quality by using KOSCO’s facilities and equipment and by dispatching box technicians(fitter) and experienced welders who are qualified by GTT and Classification Society.

Helium and Ammonia test

KOSCO SD has self-developed test equipment such as auto carriage and inspectors internationally qualified by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing(ASNT) and etc. for the quality assurance and performs leak test in all field including LNGC new building, repair and LNG tank construction on land. In addition, KOSCO SD has been qualified for testing of the Mark-III type as well as GT No 96 from GTT and has carried out tests of approximately 37 LNGC new buildings and repairs since 2014.
